  I had an amazing and well-informed prenatal experience and home birth for my first baby. Vera and Brynne were excellent at answering all of my questions leading up to the birth of my son, and during his birth, Brynne provided wonderful support and care. Also, they both gave excellent postpartum care and I had the opportunity to meet other moms whose babies were born in the same month. We gave each other tips and tricks and shared all the highs and lows of new parenthood. I have nothing but good things to say about Midwifery Care North Shore!

  Vera was our midwife and assisted in delivering our daughter with Dr. Donnelly at Lions Gate hospital four months ago. She was a great advocate for my choice to try vaginal breech birth and I credit her encouragement and wisdom to my actually being able to do it. My partner and I will be forever grateful to Vera! If you're looking for a midwife on the North Shore, consider Vera as our experience was wonderful!

  There is so much we appreciated about collaborating with Vera and her colleagues during my pregnancy and postpartum. It was a really empowering experience for me and I could not have asked for better support people and midwives throughout this journey. I found Vera brings to her practice a wonderful balance of heart, professionalism, evidence-based decision making, respect and laughter (I could go on). I am grateful for and would highly recommend the midwifery care offered by Vera to anyone. I am looking forward to (hopefully) working with Vera again one day in the future!
